Skewed sectional scores - Does it matter?

by rohanchavan » Wed Sep 12, 2012 11:02 am
My GMAT score:
Q - 51(98%)
V - 34(69%)
T - 710(92%)

I have a good score in quant, but obviously a very poor score in verbal. My target schools are the top 10 Asian schools(with ISB at the top).

Could someone please tell if such a skewed score would prove to be a hindrance? Do schools have a sectional cut-off score?

Although a balanced score in general is preferred, faaaaar more important is the total score, an at 710 you are in good shape for Top 10 Asian schools.
