Need feedback on these US schools

Hi,

Can someone tell me how good are the following schools w.r.to General Management and Finance?

Ohio State University (Fisher)
University of Wisconsin, Madison
University of Florida (Warrington)
Boston College (Carroll)
University of Illinois, Urbana Champaign

Hi C,
Those are all good tier-two programs, so they all have good general management programs.

However, I would take a different approach to evaluating these schools. What companies, industries, regions are you interested in working in? For example, if you want to stay in the midwest, then schools like OSU, Wisc, IL will have better contacts/connections within that region.

I would encourage you to review their alumni and job placement information. Find out what companies/industries do those school place at. Then try to pinpoint which schools make sense for your interests.

Can you provide more info with regards to why you want to get an MBA in the first place?

To be honest, the learnings that you get in terms of finance and text books is about the same wherever you decide to attend. What separates the schools is more of the students, alums, profs, and geographical location.

If you provide more info, I can give you more feedback.
