Hi All,

Somebody told me that if we follow some good template for writing GMAT AWA essays then we get better then normal marks...can someone please tell is this the case...if yes...then can someone please share good template for AWA essays ?

I used a Kaplan guide and they have a pretty good template format for each of the AWA essays. However, when it came to the topic of my real GMAT, I felt I had to deviate from the plan.

I still scored a 6.

I don't think the markers are particular about a template, so much as they are interested in seeing if you can communicate your ideas effectively and can make strong arguments. You should probably have a strong introduction and conclusion, but other than that I would worry more about the substance and style of the essays than on format.
