Argument Essay doubt - Supporting the author

by getk » Mon Oct 13, 2008 9:10 pm
Hello Friends,

In most of the discussions and templates i've seen argument essays are mostly concentrating on tearing out the author, finding flaws and suggesting improvements.

I was looking into one of Kaplan ARG essay topic and it was about "improvements in email and its help in corporate communication". The question was how logically persuasive you find the argument and how to improve it.

I think the pro's are better than cons. so my doubt is
Can we support the argument (rather than finding flaws) and give our suggestions to improve it?
So in general if we find an argument which is hard to reject, can we support it (according to the question) and give suggestion for it to improve?

Hi rgds,
If you look at the pool of argument topics, all the topics contain fallacies and the faulty use of the lines of reasoning- therefore it is not a good idea to saupport the author with an official topic.
