i am confused between A & B option but would have gone for B option because I feel it maintain's parallelism i,e "when viewed from a distance & when viewed up close"......................wats the OA??????

My take:

"Idiom" is the key here i guess

she is soft and smooth in her looks "but" harsh by her heart. 'She' is Saturn here.

Saturn's main rings = correct??? I am confused.
I thought possessive noun cannot be used for non living things.

Shouldn't it be main rings of Saturn ...?
