If Carmen had 12 more tapes, she would have twice as many tapes as Rafael. Does Carmen have fewer tapes than Rafael?

(1) Rafael has fewer than 5 tapes
(2) Carmen has fewer than 12 tapes

If x=/1, which is greater, 1/(x+1) or x/2?
(1) x>= 0
(2) x<3

having trouble..:(

Let Carmen have C tapes.
C+12 = 2R

Statement 1:- R<5
2R < 10
C + 12 < 10
C<-2

I guess dats impossible.

Is there some typing mistake??

@Harsha,

U will feel sorry for me man..becox i had sleepless nights becox of answering "very poor substandard/ horrible/brain squeaking/comical" questions...

And this one adds to the list!!

Bro,i wish we need to come up with a algorithm that "monitors" substandard questions based on some /common logic.

See ,if the Original popster wuld hav posted the source or the OA or the question atleast properly of his doubt atleast properly , we culd have helped him & culd have helped ourselves & wuld have avoided this dreadful cynical oratorium!

Coming to the answers..for 2 nd one E will be the asnwer!
