(Sum of the # of lawn movers produced every day of the work week)/total number of working days=Average # of lawn movers produced per day for the work week

(752+747+755+754+Friday)/5=750

(752+747+755+754+Friday)= 3750
3008+Friday=3750
Friday=742 Hence C

You can also track the residuals to find the remaining observation.

The average is 750, so

752 - 750 = 2
747 - 750 = -3
755 - 750 = 5
754 - 750 = 4

The sum of the first four residuals is 2 + (-3) + 5 + 4 = 8, so the final one must be -8 to bring the mean to 750.

750 + (-8) = 742.
