Average of (20,60,100) = 180/3 = 60

Given 60 is 10 more than average of (40,80,x)

(or) Avg of (40,80,x) = 50

120+x = 3(50)
x = 30 (E)
Avg. of 20, 60, and 100 is (100+20+60)/3 = 60

60 is 10 more than 50

If 50 is the avg. of 3 numbers, their sum is 3x50 = 150

What is missing to 40 + 80 to get to 150 is 30 (E)
