Question says "The man must sit in the middle chair". However, since there is only 1 man we can just sideline this point and focus on arranging other 4 women in remaining 4 chairs.

This can be done in 4*3*2*1 ways for 4 remaining chairs. This equals 24 ways.

Please correct me if i'm wrong!
