Low GMAT Practice scores

by SRed » Mon Feb 08, 2010 5:51 pm
Folks,
I scheduled my GMAT test two months ago and my test is coming up in next two weeks. I have been studying for around 3 months. So far i have taken 2 GMATPrep tests and 2 manhattan practice tests. Scores are coming out in the range of 400 - 450(Not so good). I am targeting for a GMAT score in the range of 600-650.I feel that i might not reach the targeted score. I might postpone the exam and retake only after getting at least 600 score in practice tests. What do you guys think?

Pls. share your opinions....

You should definitely postpone the exam. I would recommend not rescheduling until you have hit 20 points higher than your target score on two consecutive fresh CATs. What materials are you using?

Reg. materials, i am following below:

1. Practiced half of OG12 questions
2. Princeton and Kaplan for strategy
3. Little bit of manhattan SC
4. Forums ,blogs etc

What else can i do in next two weeks to improve GMAT score if i stick to my original test date?

The only worry is i have a day time job and my GMAT prep will mess with me badly again for few more months :)

If you want to stick with the original test date here is what you need to do. Go through the entire Manhattan GMAT SC guide. Make sure you understand subject verb agreement, parallelism, pronouns, and modifiers. Go through all of the math problems in the Official Guide. Anything you can't do post the problems here.
