GMAT in 9 days...any suggestions?

by Krazie85 » Mon Jul 09, 2007 5:58 am
I begin prepping the third week of May. Did strictly PS for 3 weeks and DS for 2 weeks. Did SC for 2 weeks and CR for one week. My schedule has me doing RC this week but I am so strong in RC I think I am going to focus more on my weaknesses.

My practice test scores have been as follows:

1st test GMAT Prep 1: 640
2nd test MGMAT: 640
3rd test MGMAT: 670
4th test MGMAT: 700
5th test GMAT Prep 2: 720

I have been pleased with my practice test improvements. On my last test I scored a 49 quant and 40 verbal so 90% in both.

My weaknesses have been and remain sentence correction and data sufficiency (especially number properties).

I am planning on redoing all the OG problems for both of these sections while doing small amounts of problems for CR, RC, and PS. I am very strong in CR and RC and miss about a combined 2 or 3 per test. Also planning on taking another practice test this coming sat.

Will be happy with 700+ but not terribly dissapointed with 670-690.

Any other suggestions?

Note: I dont post much but this site convinced me to prep for this test rather than take a practice test two days before and go in cold turkey. so... thanks!

It looks like you are in great shape! Spend some time analyzing your mistakes and try to recognize patterns of errors--this will help you be more focused on your prep.

I would think about doing maybe one or two more practice tests prior to your actual exam. Overall, your improvement is impressive and I think you're within reach of a fantastic GMAT score.

Best of luck!
