I have a question regarding a similar triangle problem.

Please find attached the picture for the problem definition.

Problem Description:

AB is parallel to CD.
Length of AB is 2.
Length of CD is x.
Distance from AB to CD is y.
Distance from AB TO E is x.

Question: Construction an equation involving x and y.

I do not have the answer choices so please bear with me.
