Product of x and y

Is the product of x and y greater than 60?

1. The sum of x and y is greater than 60.
2. Each of the variables is greater than 2.

1. insufficient if one of them is fraction and other is greater than 59 like 59.5 and .5
2. insufficient obviously for eg 3 and 6

but when they are combined it is sufficient so ans i s C

1. Insufficient [59.5 and 0.75 ; 40 and 3]
2. Insufficient [3,3 and 21 and 3]

Combined
Sufficient product of xy will always be greater than 60
