Research has shown that many business offices are facing large numbers of humorous e-mails in their inboxes. Even though these messages are often found to come from individual employees who have forwarded them to the entire staff, these employees are very rarely found laughing at the contents of the e-mails before forwarding them. This does not mean that these employees do not find the e-mails amusing, though, since _______________ .

A.the number of humorous e-mails forwarded by these employees is a small percentage of the total number of non-work e-mails they receive themselves.

B.employees who are likely to forward humorous e-mails usually forward them before reading them.

C.employees who are likely to forward humorous e-mails have usually seen e-mails with similar jokes before.

D.these humorous e-mails have been found in the inboxes of business offices that do not have employees forwarding them to the whole staff.

E.business offices are not the only places that receive these humorous e-mails.

OA:
B, am confused between B and C here. Why can't C be the answer her
This is a Resolve the Paradox question.

I chose B.

The reason for my choice over C was that, even if the Jokes that the employee sees is similar to the one he had previously seen, it doesn't mean he does not have to laugh. Think for example you watch a comedy film twice. When you watch it the second time, it is not necessary that you stay quiet and serious just because you have watched it before. If it is funny, you still laugh.

THE QUESTIONS ASKS US TO COMPLETE THE ARGUMENT AND AS THE BLANK BEGINS WITH SINCE, WE HAVE TO ATTACK THE PREMISE these employees are very rarely found laughing at the contents of the e-mails beforeforwarding them ,AT THE SAME TIME SUPPORT CONCLUSION THAT THEY DO FIND THE JOKES AMUSING.

THE PERFECT ANSWER IS B AS IT SHOWS THAT THE REASON WHY THEY DON'T LAUGH BEFORE FORWARDING IS BECAUSE THEY DON'T READ IT .

C IS UNWARRANTED AS WE DO NOT KNOW WHETHER REPETITION OF JOKES EVOKES SIMILAR RESPONSE OR NOT.SOME MAY LAUGH WHILE SOME MAY NOT.
