can someone pleae explain to me why the answer is b?
in the figure above, points P and Q lie on the circle with center O. what is the value of S?
illustration: P and Q are radii of a circle that meet at the center of the circle which is at x, y coordinate 0,0. their segments form a right angle that is bisected by the y-axis (think V). P has X,Y coordinates of square root of 3, and 1. The question asks for the X coordinate of Q (the mirror reflection of P), which in the question is referred to as S.
a. 1/2,
b. 1,
c. square root of 2,
d. square root of 3,
e. square root of 2 / 2
