I prepared quite well over the last 3 months and appeared for the GMAT today. The results were horrific. A mere 570 (44Q,24V). I have been scoring well close to 680 in my practice tests and my score is worse than all my practice test scores. I was/am aiming for a part-time at one of good schools like GSB/Kellogg, but I cannot even dare present these scores, even though I have tons of work experience. Need advice?
Dear TryHarder,
While it is disappointing to not score as high as you wanted, you do have the opportunity to take the test again in 30 days. Most people take the GMAT twice, so it is not a negative if you take the exam more than once. Focus on the sections you struggled with in your preparation for your next attempt and think positively!
Good luck,
Lisa
