Indigo, a draft horse, can eat 32% more hay per day than can Raleigh, a thoroughbred racehorse. How much hay can Raleigh eat in a day?

1. Indigo can eat 20% more hay per day than Tornado, who can, in turn, eat 10% more hay per day than Raleigh.
2. Tornado can eat eleven kilograms more hay than Raleigh.


My question is...i put C down, which is the OA.. but when I went back and looked at it, I thought A could be sufficient by saying....
I=R+32%
I=T+20%
T=R+10%
then plugging in equations thought i could solve for R....so what is wrong with thinking this?

A is not a viable option because it says pretty much what is in the question stem.

Question Stem - I = 1.32R

Statement 1

I = 1.2T and T =1.1R. Therefore I = 1.2(1.1R) = 1.32R

The essential thing is that it is not an addition of 32%. Example

If Indigo eats 100 bales then Raleign eats 132 bales (which is 32% more than Indigo)
