Hello Guys/Gals,

Thank you very much for all of the help on this forum. It has been of great use to myself and to many others I am sure.

I have a question that is found in the Kaplan Math Workbook (sixth edition). It is located on page 122 Question 10. It asks me to solve for X:

ax/b+cx=1

would anyone know how I should go about answering the exercise question?

I am curious as to how I should go about answering a question like that, not neccesarily the answer (which is in the book).

PS the only reason I ask is because the exercise questions do not have explanations.

hmmmm......
ax+bcx=b
x(a+bc)=b
x=b/a+bc
