I don't want to stir up trouble, but credited as (being) shows up as a valid idiom in Merriam-Webster's online dictionary for non-native speakers.

I feel a certain responsibility to make clear what is GMAT English and what is real English. :(

GMAT test makers knows where to trap non-natives , anyways IDIOMs are not gonna stop them to work hard .... :) .
