AIM, what if we put THAT in Op D after AND...????

Yep Atul if we put THAT after AND in option D , would be a good option , we will have to remove the comma after "pacemaker " .

AIM, I don't think that is correct. If you remove the clause you can see that 'interfering' doesn't work in this sentence:

Researchers have announced that the magnetic fields emitted by one manufacturer's
security surveillance system...interfering with pacemakers...
