what is wrong with C here?

1. Pls underline the sentence!!! It makes the sentence so much easier to read.

2. C is wrong because resulting is modifying "the relative cost" (Subject). It should rather modify the drop in costs. So you can eliminate a,b,c.

3. As is wrong, so you can eliminate b.

4. e is wrong because it distorts the meaning. (placement of as a result)

5. I think you need "it did" to have the correct comparison. But you can eventually ellipse it.
