I agree with mundasingh123! What are the key differences from the Aristotle SC and Manhattan SC? Manhattan seems to be very comprehensive.

I think what I liked about the SC Grail was it divided everything quite clearly. The first section deals with the basics of grammar such as participles, gerunds etc. The second section deals with the error types tested on the GMAT. The third section has miscellaneous errors and the best of all the fourth section has 100 SC Questions where can you actually test the concepts learned. So it is quite a structured book.
MGMAT is no doubt a good book but it doesn't flow in a good way. For example, it straightaway starts with the error types tested on the GMAT . For me, that was a little problematic as I had forgotten most of the grammar and wanted to refresh the basics first.
Secondly, MGMAT SC Guide doesn't have questions. You'll have to refer OG12 while the SC Grail has a questionbank as the 4th section of the book and a topic wise break up of questions is given . That ensures that you don't exhaust the OG questions in the beginning.

However, I'd recommended using SC Grail in conjunction with MGMAT SC Guide for getting a firm grasp on the concepts.

Gonna through the 1st section of the SC Grail and lovin' it! Now I understand the basics of grammar which alas I never understood though I could speak and write good English. Now I plan to dive into the various error types in section 2 and simultaneously practice questions from section 4.

~ This is Sparta, this is madness~ (oops!a semicolon, not a comma should be ideally there :-D )

That's the best part of SC Grail. Starts of with basics but doesn't claim to be an encyclopedia. MGMAT SC has a section at the end and though I never understood the terms in the beginning, I never cared to search for them.

I also bought their RC-99 which is a collection of 99 passages. Good practice material and I strongly recommend it.

Ya, true. It maintains a pretty good balance between grammar and the error types tested. I had seen GMAT Club Grammar Guide also but found it to be unnecessarily comprehensive. It unnecessarily delves into that the intricacies of grammar which will not even be tested on the GMAT.
