All companies should invest heavily in advertising because high-quality advertising can sell almost any product or service.

Advertisement is one essential tool for companies to market their products. Nowadays consumers are confronted with all types of advertisement through different channels. The given opinion states that any product can be sold through heavy advertisement. In the following I will show that a company does not necessarily need to advertise heavily in order to be successful.

Primarily, through advertisement people get to know new products and become potential customers. One just needs to imagine, how many products one might have bought after seeing them in a TV advertisement or a poster in the city. However, the statement says that through "high-quality" advertising any product can be sold. Here one can ask herself what high quality advertising actually is. We will define "high quality advertising" as an advertising campaign that is very expensive.

Heavy advertisement is not the key to the success of the product. Some companies want their products to be exclusive and offer it only to a small base of customers. One example for such a company is Rolex. The management does not heavily advertise at all and only chooses one advertising channel, such as a high-society magazine.

Another point that weakens the statement is the fact of repurchasers. Even if the product is advertised through various channels, there is no guarantee for the product to be a success. Unless the product has a satisfying quality for the consumer it will not be sold again after the first time.

Lastly, a company with a strong brand-awareness does not need to advertise as heavily as a company that is new to the market. This is because people tend to buy products with a high brand-awareness because they feel safe and mistrust new products, even if the well-known new products of the existing brand are not advertised at all or only to a small extent.

In sum, one can say that advertising a brand heavily can be one success factor but does not have to be the success factor. In my opinion it is more important to see the different factors as a whole and then decide which method of advertising the company needs to use in order to be successful and sell its products.

you can take look at my issue essay then you will notice the difference.

Structure is unclear. Statement isn't much cogent. Too much personal view and idea in the essay.
