Inequalities

Q: If K is not equal to 0, 1 or -1, is 1/k >0?

1) 1/k-1 > 0

2) 1/k+1 > 0

Answer: A

I think I'm just tired now and not able to see the solution to the above. Can someone please provide an explanation as to why the answer is A.

1) 1/k > 1
