We're a little doubtful that the adcom will be able to see past the low test score. Unfortunately that verbal score is very very low, and your total is well beneath the 80th percentiles of schools like Merage (600-720).

The good news is that your quant is pretty good already, and if you take the test again and raise the verbal, it will add a big boost to your overall score. We recommend that you test again and bring that score up, and then it will be easier for the adcom to say yes.

Of course, for everyone it always depends on the entirety of the profile, not just one datapoint of test score, so you'll need to have a strong pitch throughout - the essays are always important. However it's typically very difficult to overcome a GMAT weakness so we encourage you to test again before applying.

You haven't mentioned your profile in detail. And I agree with essaysnark that your GMAT score is a little low. Your verbal is pretty good but your quant is little low. I would suggest you to retake your GMAT because if you are planning to apply in B-Schools you have mentioned below you need to score in between 600-700 GMAT Score.

Absolutely. B-schools like to see a balanced GMAT; with a perfect qaunt score and an extremely low verbal score, your GMAT score is highly unbalanced. So I would also suggest that you retake GMAT and try to raise it to at least 660. Three years' experience should be fine;however, what matters the most is the quality of your work experience i.e. your accomplishments,and your leadership experiences. etc.

With the little information you have provided about your self ,it's difficult to predict your chances of getting in schools of your choice (UC Irvine , University of Colorado at boulder and Virginia tech Pamplin). B-schools take a holistic view of your profile through different parts of your application : GMAT score, GPA, resume, essays, and recommendations letters.Essays are the most important part of your application, so it's extremely important that you craft memorable essays that present your candidacy in the best manner possible.

In addition to the good advice you've received above, the first thing I would do is check if the schools you are applying to have a minimum TOEFL requirement. That is often an absolute cut-off regardless of the remainder of the profile.

Also, be certain you're looking at the MBA programs' TOEFL requirements. Frequently, MBA programs have a higher threshold for the TOEFL than does the rest of the university. This is primarily due to the high level of communication required in an MBA program.
