im taking the gmat around the time application are due for round 1. if i decide to retake the gmat, can i resubmit my new score as consideration under round 1 before they make any final considerations? or will they bump my second attempt at the gmat toward round 2 applications?

Most schools utilize the data that you have on hand for a particular deadline. Therefore, your GMAT score that is on your record at the time of the 1st deadline is the one that will be considered.
