Executive MBA programs are often targeted to people who are already in their desired field and are looking to expand their understanding of other functions to help the deal with colleagues in other departments. That may not be as effective for a career-changer. However, most full- and part-time MBA programs consist largely of people in their 20s and early 30s.
If you know what schools you are interested in, or if there are strong schools in your city, you should try to contact their admissions departments and explain your situation. They should be able to tell you which programs at their schools are most likely to meet your needs.
