Which math prep book should I start with??

by suo1987 » Thu Jul 16, 2009 2:20 pm
Hello everyone, I fairly new to this forum though I have been lurking around for the past couple of weeks now. I've heard that the manthaatan math prep books are one of the best for studying for the math portion for the gmat but I have also heard that the Princeton review is a good book to start with when studying for the math part of the gmat. I plan on taking the gmat around mid-to late November before thanksgiving holidays. I really want to get a 690+ on this test. Any clear advise would be nice.

I plan on studying for the verbal later this month to mid-August and then study for the math part from late August-Early November. I also plant to devote 2 hrs a day studying for the gmat.

I want to take my first practice test by mid August then another one by late September and one last one by early November.

Those this sound like a good regime?? I especially would like the advice from the GMAT instructors on this board, Mods and any fellow members on this board who have scored in the high 600+.

I think you meant 'Manhattan GMAT' & 'Princeton review'
not 'Manhattan Review'... it's a disguise by the way; I would stay away from it.
