First of all, thanks for reading. I am stressing out about where to apply, especially with R2 deadlines coming up.

Please evaluate my profile, let me know what you think of the schools I'm applying to, and recommend more

3 year work experience in Fall 2010 (4.5 years if counting internships, part-time, etc.)
3.2 GPA from San Diego State University, major in Journalism with minors in English and Television, Film, New Media Production

Extracurricular- Author of university guidebook and co-author of several other guidebooks, staff writer for campus newspaper for 3 years, Eagle Scout, International Student Volunteer, Young Democrats, Volunteer for Jane Goodall Institute

Work Experience- 1 1/2 years as Marketing Associate for consulting firm and social media venture, 1 year as Marketing Intern for youth travel company, 1 1/2 years Marketing Manager for Education Company

GMAT: AWA 6, 640 (41-V, 92 percentile and 37 Q, 49 percentile)

Optional essay explaining my low Q score, why I received it, and how I plan to improve my Q skills considerably before Fall (never took math seriously since I was so good at comm skills, realize now how important it is and am ready to bring it, full-on study plan for the next six months to catch me up-to-speed and then some)

Concentration: Marketing and Entrepreneurship, probably on west coast, or southeast

Schools Applying to:

1. San Diego State (my backup)

2. UCLA R2 (my longshot)

3. Pepperdine (competitive)

4. UT-Austin R2

5. University of San Diego

Other schools considering, any recommendations or advice?

1. University of Maryland-College Park

2. UCI

3. Texas A&M College Station

4. Arizona State University

5. Oxford

Any other scores I should be looking at with my profile? Please submit recommendations and advice. Any feedback is appreciated.

The first school that came to mind in reading your profile was Kellogg. They might like your West Coast media and marketing background. I always recommend aiming high, so don't be daunted by the stats from top schools.
