I am planning to apply to MBA class of 2015, Round 1 next October. I'm really "tired" of my current job and seriously consider taking a gap year to go abroad, whether visiting different countries or volunteer work somewhere. Do you think it would be a good idea before applying? By that, I mean won't it be a "bad mark" on my MBA app resume?
Short note about my profile: I did my undergrad in Cameroon in Africa and have been working in the Finance industry for 3 Years now in Paris, France.
