To GMAT or Not To GMAT?

by youngkareem » Tue Sep 27, 2011 7:39 am
Hello,

A couple of the emba programs i'm considering do not require applicants to take the gmat exam but some recommend it. My question is, should i suck it up and take it any way or thank my lucky stars? Please chime in...

thanks!

Hello Kareem,
If it will boost your chances of getting into the programs you want, go for it. Install the GMAT prep software from MBA.com, look through the practice material, take a practice test, and see what you score.
Schedule a date, study a bit between now and then, and go for it.
You don't really have much to lose -- just a few hours of studying & prep and $250!

All the best!
