I received my Official Score and I scored a 600 but somehow they gave me a 3.0 (5%) on my AWA. I was extremely confident with the two essays. I believed that my essays were excellent. I am generally a good writer and I thought that I responded to the two articles very well. I am devastated and I am afraid that this will kill my chances at the school that I applied to. Is it at all possible that a mistake has been made on their part?
The GMAC does offer to rescore your essays (for $45) but the score has already been sent to the school and they will make a decision before I could get a rescore.
