I have been studying for the GMAT for about 3 months now off and on, and I am about to really start cracking...ALOT. I took my first "diagnostic test" to see after a review of all material how I stand. Well, I got a 500....first time and I'll consider it not to bad. I am horrible at these types of tests, and I am a person who thinks these tests are the worst way to evaluate a person's admittance to grad school vs. four actual years of college work. It is especially hard when my counselor says the faculty in charge of admittance thinks the same way...kinda makes studying for it pointless, or seem that way.
I am going to concentrate on weaknesses now using the OG and the Kaplan GMAT 800 books. One book assesses the easier to medium questions and the other assesses the way hard one's.
Is this a good strategy? I do have about 1 month to get it up 100 points.
