Hi,
I have just started preparing for THE gmat:).. so are there any gmat takers in Tokyo? would love to meet during the weekends and practice for 3-4 hours.
Not sure if it helps but they say this kind of preparation helps you learn newer stuff quickly.

Hey tohellandback,

Just came across this through your signature. I'm in Tokyo (Meguro) and am in the midst of my GMAT studies (this is my 2nd attempt - got a 630 - 43Q 34V in Mid-May 2009 -started studying feb 2009. Target score is 730+). I love BTG, but alas I don't post much!

How are you coming along with your studies? Are you taking any courses etc.?

I also believe that it may be a good idea to interact with other testtakers and discuss GMAT problems/approaches. Will send you a PM.

hey Sakimono,
thanks fo the reply. I am in Denenchofu now.( but moving out to roppongi by the end of this month)
I am not taking any courses. I am pretty confident about quant but I guess some group study might help me with the verbal part.
We can meetup once a wek or so.
oh by the way , are you a Japanese or a gaijin..its just a question though..doesn't make any difference

and I just got a pm from one more guy in tokyo.
I guess we are gonna rock!!!!

there are a lot of bookstores around here but I guess you can buy all the gmat books from Amazon.co.jp
they have pretty good discount on all the books..
I bought gmat OG 12 for 29 dollars. On the mba.com site it is quoted 36 dollars
