What do you do during breaks?

Hello All,

I'm taking the GMAT for the 2nd time this Saturday. While studying, I thought about something that might help me save a few minutes. If I remember correctly, the 8 minute breaks are between the AWA sections and after the Quant. section.

I don' t know if this would be allowed, but I was thinking that I would number the questions, 1 - 37 (a,b,c,d,e) and 1-41 (a,b,c,d,e) while on break. Has anyone done this? Do you think that this would be allowed? I'm not actually working on any of the test during the break, but then again, who knows how PearsonVue would think about what I'm doing?

I know it wouldn't be a huge time savings, but it might save me a couple of minutes.

If you don't think this would fly, but have any other ideas / suggestions, feel free to reply.

when on breaks you must leave the room. However, in the beginning of the test, when you select schools to send the report to, you can spend as much time as you want. That's the time to use to make a table of questions and ABCDE.

If I remember correctly, which I may not, but I thought I selected my schools at the end of the exam? If the school selection is at the beginning, like you mentioed, then I will make my tables then. Thanks!

Nope, you choose your schools in the beginning. You answer their various questionnaires (demographic information) at the end of the test.

Thanks for the clarification. I knew I did something at the end, but wasn't sure what it was.
