Hi there,

Thank you for sharing your detailed profile. According to what you have shared, I would say that your strengths so far are:
-GMAT is solid, at or near the average at top-rated programs
-average academics
-solid work experience in terms of quantity and quality
-leadership and teamwork skills evidenced
-activities show involvement and other interests
-quantitative skills demonstrated (GMAT, engineering background)

Potential challenges include:
-you are part of a common background/applicant group, engineers from India with around 700-ish GMAT and 3-5 years of work experience
-no career goals at present
-not clear on why you want the MBA

Application components that are unknown at present:
-your essays!!
-recommendations
-interview
-what schools you are interested in/what region of the world/etc

So given all of the above, it's not yet possible to advise you on potential schools without knowing more about the types of things you are looking for in a school. See our free downloadable e-book for help on choosing schools, at https://info.mbamission.com/Selecting-Yo ... ram-E-Book.

It's great that you are starting to research b-school options and next steps in your career. I suggest you spend some time really researching and assessing for your personal goals and preferences, the following....
-why do you want an MBA?
-where do you see yourself in 5-10 years?
-how will the MBA help get you there?
-why is now the best time for your MBA?
-what region of the world would you like to work in post-MBA?
-what type of curriculum and class size and teaching methods are you interested in at b-school?
-what length of MBA program are you interested in?

Once you have solid answers for these questions you will be best-positioned for a strong application to any top business schools. With a 710 and your background you have a CHANCE at basically all top programs, it just means that the admissions decision will be based on your application with the essays playing an extremely large role-- you need to convince the admissions committee that you need an MBA from their program in order to accomplish your goals, and that your past plus the MBA leads to those goals... as well as sharing what about you is unique and what you'll bring to the program...if you can do that, your odds of admission are high.
