Very nervous about the issue essay

I'm coming to the BTG Community in hope of some comfort. I am so nervous about the analysis of an issue essay. I've looked over the official lists of AWA issue topics and there are so many topics that I feel unprepared to write about. I am scheduled to take the test April 5th and feel that I have had a pretty solid study plan, and I'm confident about the quant and verbal sections, but I'm so nervous about the issue essay. I have a horrible memory and can't come up with solid examples regarding politics and international affairs. At the same time, I cant start preparing for 130 essays -- it doesn't seem like a good plan.

What if I bomb the essays? Any thoughts? Anyone else feeling this way?

I'm not an expert and therefore cannot advise you on how to get rid of this feeling. To tell you, I've faced this essay section twice : once in GRE and once in the GMAT. Both the times, I've scored 4.5

Elia has given the easiest method to cross these two hurdles. Applying the ideas in the article are not tough at all !

I was in the same situation. English is not my first language so writing in English is very difficult. A friend told me about gmatfix.com. I contacted the tutor, Patrick Siewe, who recommended an hour tutoring. Very inexpensive, $150. I did one essay for each AWA. We went over it during my tutoring hour. Patrick has excellent strategy to improve my writing. I only prepared intensively for 2 days, and got a 5 at the AWA.
