We know the mean is 21 and SD of 6 !!

So on the graph(which actually not needed here )

it says it was between 1 and 2 SD below mean!!

that is left side of the bell curve !

so the value has to lie betwwen 2sd=9 and 1 sd=15

15-9 is the range !! so

only number which fits the spot :)---- 12
