The "if" statement implies uncertainty, so it doesn't make sense to use the definite construction "you (often) find" in the second clause.

hi bill just a small doubt..

is the usage of Finds correct here??

i think that since it is prices are(plural) so it should be find...
correct me if i am wrong..

The type of verb (singular/plural) is determined by the subject. In this sentence, the noun doing the finding is "one," which is singular, so we use the singular verb "finds." Prices is indeed plural, and that's why the sentence says that prices are high.
