the correct answer needs the idiom "as many as."

(A) Americans were k!IIed as
Correct idiom

(B) Americans were k!IIed than
"as many than" is incorrect

(C) Americans were k!IIed than those who
"as many than" is incorrect

(D) more Americans were k!IIed as there
"as many more as" the use of more makes this the incorrect idiom

(E) more Americans were k!IIed as those who
"as many more as" the use of more makes this the incorrect idiom
