Hey Christina - we actually know of someone who recently finished that UCLA course - we've emailed them to see if they can pop in here and give you some comments.

To directly answer your question here: We don't typically see the need for multiple classes to offset the GPA issue. You'll need to weight everything out with the GMAT prep, and of course the essays themselves - writing essays usually takes MUCH longer than people expect.

(While we don't recommend actual classes, it's very possible that others around here can do so.)

Great to see the motivation you're showing, this will go far in how the adcoms interpret your profile! Good luck with all the studying you'll be doing - it'll be great preparation for bschool later on.

So how time consuming were the UC berekely classes?

@chris558 - a 660 is a good score but it certainly makes admissions decisions easier for the adcoms when a candidate comes in at/over 700. The class will not only help you with increased skills and hopefully boost your performance on the test, it will signal to the bschools that you're serious about getting an MBA. It sounds like you're doing all in your power to get there - great job!
