While many years ago money and social status were the main important factors for success, education is getting more and more important. Nevertheless property and financial background enables children a different and more promising childhood. Therefore they are better prepared to succeed in their educational career.

Firstly, the familiar background is the most important thing in a young person's life. It decides whether he or she goes to a public or a private school and what background knowledge is provided. Did the family make many travels in the Past? Did their child receive the possibility for sports and music instruments? All this are important factors, deciding the possible way a person will go in it's life. A relevant example is Sebastian Vettel, if his parents did not support him in his childhood to drive kart, he could not have succeeded in motor sports.

Secondly, many leading positions in companies are preserved for the owner and his family. Although one may be more educated or even better suited for this work, he or she will never get this job. A good example therefore is Riedel, the leading wineglass factory worldwide. Even though the son of the old owner is not comparable intelligent as the leading sales manager, he is the new CEO of the company. His father just decided this and gave the necessary shares to his son.
However, education got more and more important. Having straight "A"s the whole school career enables a person to find a scholarship or financial aid more easily. The Zeppelin University for example offers the two best applications a free education and the necessary money needed for a living.

In sum, education is for sure an important factor for success and it's relevance is consequently increasing, but a financial stable familiar background is still the more important driver of success.
