Judy ran along the fence that surrounds her house. The fence forms a rectangle whose dimensions are 20x30 meters. Beginning from a vertex of the rectangle, Judy started running along one of the long sides, and stopped when she has completed running along 7 sides. This jog took her 30 seconds. What was Judy's speed in meters per second?

A. 2/3
B. 8/3
C. 23 1/3
D. 17/3
E. 6

The OA is E.

Please, can any expert explain this PS question for me? I tried to solve it of the following way,

I should find the total distance cover by Judy, it will be 30+20+30+20+30+20+30= 180 meters, she covered it in 30 seconds, then
$$Rate=\frac{dist}{time}=\frac{180}{30}=6\ $$
I need your help. Thanks.

We see that Judy ran 4 long sides and 3 short sides for a total distance of 4 x 30 + 3 x 20 = 180 meters.

Since it took her 30 seconds her rate is 180/30 = 6 meters/second.
