I have been preparing for my GMAT for the past 2 months and my target is to get 720+ score.
On Quants i am able to get 93-95% of my answers correct ( and i strongly feel that the rest 5-7% of the errors are either due to silly mistakes or in the inequality area..)
Verbal section i am able to get only 82-86% of my answers correct - in which RC and SC seems to be my weakest area.
SC - I got inspired by the flash cards idea of BTG and had started making my own flash cards from the mistakes that i have been making in SC area.. I would say that the result of using flash cards are fairly successful - I used to get 75% of my answers correct earlier and after flash cards i can consistently touch 82-85% correct rate. However i guess 82% is no good to reach the score i'm aiming at...
RC - Problems with my RC seems to be a direct function of the subject of the RC.... economic or history related RCs are the ones that really get my scores down. Also one particular question type which i generally not good at is on the - tone of the passage. I often tend to narrow down to 2 choices and end up selecting the wrong one
.
Any suggestions on what should i do to increase my hit rate in SC and RC areas??? I'm planning to take my GMAT in Mar '11 time frame
