Hi guys,
I need to get your advice on a dilemma which I could not imagine I would be struggling with :
I have been accepted to both INSEAD and LBS, but I could not resume the equations properly.
A few facts :
- 1 year vs 2 year.
- 69k€ vs 58k€.
- london is more expensive.
- no internships at insead.
- In my first idea, I was about to try a career change in finance, but to be honest, I am a bit frightened by the investment banker way of life. i could try wiht LBS, but not with INSEAD.
- I am French with not a long experience abroad, so I am more inclined towards london.
- I used to work in utilities, but energy is less appealing now than hi tech if I had to chose a sector (I have already worked 18 months for a VC)
- Asia is appealing, but I have not plan any serious plan (INSEAD).
- consulting is something I want to try at least.
- I think brand names are more or less equal
- my feeling is that INSEAD people seems a bit funnier, but again I could be wrong, it's just based on my different interviews and meetings at both schools events.
- I will be 30 at the end of the year.
I really struggle to make my choice, I have the feeling LBS could open more options, but in the end, I would target more or less the same career tracks at INSEAD.
Have some people been facing the same situation ??
The deadline is coming very quickly for commitment ...
