can't figure out why the OA is the OA !

26^4 + 26^5 = 26^4(26 + 1) = 27(26^4)

Am I the only one who thinks the question isnt clear as to whether we can repeat the letters or not??

I started 26!/22! + 26!/21! until I realized I was nowhere near the answer...
