Retaking the practice exam. I am attempting to score above 500 on the GMAT practice and GMAT. What should I score on the practice exam to make sure I score the same on the actual exam? +/- 10?

To ensure a 500 you probably want to be around at least a 550, but there is not concrete number.

I took the gmatprep practice exam 1 today, but only did the quant section. After doing the the first 21 days, I made a leap from 7 to 27 percentile in Quant or 19Q to 31Q. I was aiming to get around 30Q towards the end of the 60 study guide and relying more on a good verbal score, but it looks like 40Q will be possible. I will sit through the entire verbal practice test to see where I am in the entire test next time.
I am getting the scores I need not even half way through the study guide. Looking forward to see the results near the end, but I am still on day 23 now. I will keep in mind the 550 score.Jim@StratusPrep wrote:To ensure a 500 you probably want to be around at least a 550, but there is not concrete number.
I ended up taking the Verbal section of the GMATPREP practice exam and received a 33 percentile / 24 V. I did not think I would be scoring higher in quant than verbal but ill take it. Most of the verbal section was easy I thought but I need work on RC the most. 31Q 24V overall 470 is an improvement since I started day 1. Continuing to day 23 hoping to see more improvement.
