A container is used to pack and ship cube shaped boxes. The container is a rectangular solid with one face completely open. The volume of the cubic boxes is 64 cubic inches. How many boxes can be packed in the container?

(1) The volume of the container is 1024 cubic inches.

(2) The opening of the container is 16 inches by 16 inches

Ans : C

but isn't a suff.

Statement 1 :
Not Sufficient -> As we don't know the dimension of the container. (It is not liquid, which you can just pour into the box. You need to fit it the box. So the length and breadth matters. Based on that it may fully fit or it may leave some spaces.)

Statement 2 :
Not sufficient -> Now we know the dimension (length & breadth) BUT not the volume, which again is needed as with the same length and breadth but different height you can put different numbers of cube.

Combing 1 and 2 : Sufficient , As we have all the dimensions (length, breadth and height) of the cube. We can determine the no. in this case.
