Sol1 :

y = (x+a)(x+b) ==> y = x^2 + (a+b)x + ab ==> to get x intercept assume y = 0

x^2 + (a+b)x + ab = 0

I) a+b = -1, not sure about ab - Insuff

II) Substitute x=0 ==> ab = -6, not sure about a+b - Insuff

I & II) Suff

Answer C


Sol 2:

I) QPR = 30; can't determine PRS - Insuff
II) PQR + PRQ = 150, only gives us QPR = 180 - 150 = 30, Still we can't get PRS - Insuff

I & II) in fact, both I & II are almost exactly same. - Insuff

Sol 3:

Get the ratio 1o of concentrate : 3o water = 4o juice

200 * 6o = 1200o of juice to be prepared

1200o Juice = 300o Concentrate : 900o water

Number 12o cans of concentrate = 300 / 12 = 25cans
