Rohu is correct Zero is considered an EVEN INTEGER...
Correct. The definition of "even" is "an integer divisible by 2 with no remainder". Zero gives no remainder when divided by 2, and thus is an even integer. The fact that zero is also divisible by odd integers such as 3, 5 or 10001 is irrelevant, as zero fits the definition of an even integer.

To sum up the rules of zero:
  • Zero is neither positive nor negative. The very definition of "positive" or "negative" is "greater than zero" or "smaller than zero", respectively.
    Zero is an integer
    zero is even
Zero is divisible by anything (except itself) with no remainder. If x is divisible by 5, x=0 is a valid plug in.
